May Underdog Sale!
Help SICSA celebrate the underdog this month! Many animals are overlooked at the Center because of their age, size, breed, color or behavior. SICSA wants to celebrate the overlooked and under thought! From May 1st – May 17th our specialty marked “underdogs” will have a special adoption fee of $70 and our specialty marked “undercats” will be $25. We want to show you that the overlooked and under thought animals make amazing pets and put the spotlight on them this month! Everyone loves an underdog (or cat), so stop by SICSA today and let us introduce you to these great animals.

Is your pet ready to become a calendar pin-up? Now is the time to enter SICSA's Calendar Photo Contest. Only $10 per entry. In addition to a FREE professional pet photo by MotoPhoto, each winner will also receive a FREE calendar so they can proudly display their famous pet.

Thanks to a grant from PetSmart Charities - SICSA is offering $10 spay or neuter surgeries for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Rabies vaccination is also included if 4 months or older and not current. Read More

Pet of the Week: Jethro
What does a Hound dog have to do around here to get some love? I’m such an Underdog and this week the Underdog is going to win! I’m going to find my forever home I can feel it in my big ol’ Hound ears. I’m five years old, I’m a laid back guy, and I don’t cause any trouble. I’m a couch potato and if you won’t let me lay on your couch, just give me a big ol’ bed to lie on. I do love to go outside to play and sniff around. Going outside is the best! I’m just a bit sweetheart! Let me be honest with ya…I’m a Hound dog and I don’t do cats. I’m five years old and I’ve had bad experiences with kids, they are scary and I don’t much care to live with one. That’s not asking too much is it? I just want someone to love just me! Please consider adopting an underdog like me. Give me a chance and I won’t let ya down.
