Pet of the Week

I’m Klint and I’m a five year old Giant Schnauzer blend.  I speak squeaker, you know as in squeaker toy. I love to play. I also love the water! I love to drink the water and play in the water. I’m kind of a laid back guy. I’m not a cutesy in your face, please pet me, let me sit in your lap kind of dog. I’ll lie beside you, keep you company, and hang out with you. I’ll play fetch with you, and I love to get belly rubs. I’m just different, and people don’t like different I guess. The people here at SICSA think I’m pretty cool. I get to hang out with them a lot. I must be a favorite.

No one can handle the Klintmister haha! I’m looking for the right people. People, who understand the Giant Schnauzer, people who don’t expect me to be something I’m not. I was an owner surrender back in May. Yeah, that’s right…May. My owner had me for two years and then got sick and had to give me up. I’ve been adopted twice since I’ve been here at SICSA, oh and returned twice. Once was because I didn’t get along with their other animal and the other was because I needed too much training. I am a dog you know, I’ll need training. I’m not a fan of too many other dogs, I’m picky about who I’m friends with. I’ll let you in on a secret, deep down I’m just a love bug who wants someone to love on me and tell me I’m a good boy. Oh, I also get to go to pet therapy visits. I go visit with people at nursing homes and retirement centers. People get a kick out of me!
