SICSA Announces Jack Omer as new CEO

Jack OmerThe SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center (SICSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Omer as their new CEO. Omer has been serving as SICSA’s interim CEO since September 25th.

“Over the past month, Jack has been entrusted with the role of Interim CEO,” said SICSA Board President Kunal Patel. “Having observed his remarkable leadership throughout this period, the Board has unanimously chosen to appoint Jack Omer as the permanent President and CEO of SICSA. His skills and talents align perfectly with SICSA’s mission, culture, and business direction.”

Omer is a former SICSA Board member and volunteer dating back more than a decade and is well-versed in SICSA’s mission and values. “His love of animal welfare, background in human services, and overall business expertise make him the ideal leader for the organization,” said Patel.

“As we approach our 50th-anniversary celebration in May 2024, we’re confident that under Jack’s guidance, SICSA’s legacy will continue to flourish. We believe he will uphold and enhance our dedication to animal welfare, customer service, staff and volunteer engagement and business efficiency for the decades to come,” said Patel.

Omer said, “The mission of SICSA is so important to me personally and given my longevity with my involvement in the organization, the more time I spent here and more time I interacted with the staff and volunteers, I really felt like this role was a good next move for me.”

Omer will assume the position permanently, effective immediately.
