SICSA Announces Jack Omer as Interim CEO during Ongoing Leadership Search

Jack OmerThe SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center (SICSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Omer as Interim CEO as the organization continues its diligent search for its next permanent leader.

“Jack brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as a key member of SICSA’s Board of Directors for two terms, 2012 through 2018, and a part of committees and as a donor since. We are confident that Jack Omer’s leadership will provide stability and continuity as we embark on the search for our next CEO,” shared SICSA Board President Kunal Patel. “Jack’s commitment to our mission and his track record of success within both For and Nonprofit organizations make him the ideal choice to lead us through this period”, stated Patel.

Outgoing SICSA President & CEO Nora Vondrell underscored the significance of this interim plan, remarking, “Over the next three months, Jack’s primary focus will be on aiding the organization in the search for a permanent CEO and championing the commencement of SICSA’s fiftieth-year celebration beginning in January 2024. Equally vital will be ensuring that our staff and volunteers have the necessary resources to maintain our position as a benchmark of excellence in the community. We are unwavering in our commitment to being purpose-focused, innovative, and meeting the unique needs of each community and client – whether they have four legs or two”, concluded Vondrell.

Omer officially assumes his role as Interim CEO on Monday, September 25th.
