Marissa (Missy) Joseph is an asset to the SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center volunteer team. With her background in nursing, her impact within our veterinary clinic is outstanding. For the past seven years, Marissa has shown love and compassion to the animals she helps after their surgeries. Her medical expertise makes her excellent at monitoring breathing and vitals, allowing her to immediately notify our veterinarians if troubles arise. Her work with SICSA is truly lifesaving.
In April, Marissa’s work with SICSA was recognized by the Dayton Business Journal. At a ceremony honoring she and other notable people in our community, she was named a Health Care Hero.
