Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA and an additional sponsorship from Wagner Subaru, SICSA will be offering FEE WAIVED adoptions at the Wagner Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Extravaganza. All cats and dogs that are available for adoption are eligible for this promotion.
The adoption extravaganza will take place at the SICSA Pet Adoption Center at 2600 Wilmington Pike from noon-7pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019.
For those of you worried that these kinds of specials create adoption problems, please read this article from the ASPCA. We also have several years of our own statistics. Because all or our normal adoption processes are still in place, we have not seen a return difference nor have we seen a change from our post adoption contacts (we complete one week and two-month follow up check ins for all adoptions).
All SICSA adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriately for their age and length of stay, and microchipped. We will not be offering adoption holds or slumber parties during this event. All other adoption processes still apply.
We expect a large crowd, so please be prepared to wait in line. We will have activities for kids and treats for everyone while you wait to take home your next furry family member!
