The Cat’s Meow: Why It’s Important

Like many of our events, The Cat’s Meow raises funds for the programs and animals at SICSA. This annual event brings our community supporters together to not only raise money but to advocate for animals. The Cat’s Meow is a cocktail party that features both live and silent auctions, heavy hors d’ oeuvres, games of chance, and an opportunity to meet some of SICSA’s dapper pups!

This year, we are featuring the opportunity to bid for some auctions online. This will give those who cannot attend the event the opportunity to win some amazing auctions.

Do you want a sneak peek at some of the auctions for this year?

Hamilton in Chicago

Hamilton has played to sold-out crowds since September 2016 opening and by the time it plays its final show, some 2.8 million people will likely have seen it at the CIBC Theatre. Written by Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Lin Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is the story of American then, as told by American now.

This is YOUR chance to have some fun and make a difference for our pets. Get your tickets, encourage your friends to attend via your social networks and then bid early and often to secure your favorite auction items and support SICSA’s life-saving mission.
