With emerald eyes and a spunky personality to match, it’s hard to understand why Phoebe has been overlooked by potential adopters for so long. When she arrived at SICSA in February of 2021, she quickly stole the hearts of a number of staff and volunteers. When someone would step into her open room, she would come right out, often rubbing up against the visitor’s legs to offer an affectionate introduction. In her foster home, she was known to be playful and quirky, opening up after a bit of shyness to allow her true, loving personality shine through. Despite her silly, sweet disposition, she has yet to find her forever home.
Given her extended time at SICSA, she is now part of the No Pets Left Behind program. This program is for pets that have been available for adoption at SICSA for more than 60 days. For these pets, SICSA waives the adoption fee in hopes of garnering additional interest for dogs and cats that are struggling to find their new families. This means someone could bring home a lifetime of love with the fantastic Ms. Phoebe for no adoption fee! Who could pass on such a sweet deal?
