Meet Our Intern: Emma

Meet our SICSA intern from the Modern College of Art and Design, Emma!

Emma chose to intern at SICSA because of her love of animals. She has 4 rescue pets of her own, believes every animal deserves a great home, and loves being able to do work that will help shelter pets find their families. She is currently working on designing new mascots, and is doing a great job! She is a phenomenal artist.

After she graduates, she would love to get a job as a web designer here in Dayton, and grow her custom pet portrait business on the side. “I have a passion for design, illustration, and animals, so incorporating all of those into my career would be amazing”, Emma said.

One of Emma’s favorite drawings that she’s done is of Quinn the Australian Shepherd. She said that “I love capturing all of the details that make each pet unique, so I especially loved working on her gorgeous eyes, pink nose and merle coat. I love drawing animals more than anything and love to capture each animal’s unique personality in my art.”
