What to expect the day of surgery
You will be expected to drop off your pet on the day of surgery at 7:15 am. Please allow up to 45 minutes due to the number of clients. Please note that late drop offs will not be accepted and you will be charged a $20 fee to reschedule.
Feel free to feed your pet a small meal the morning of surgery. SICSA suggests giving them ¼ - ½ of the normal amount of food you usually give. Please always leave water available to your pet.
SICSA asks that you please leave dogs in your car until after check in. Weather permitting.
Cats must be in a box or carrier. You will be able to pick up your pet the day of surgery. Pick up times vary, at check in they will let you know the time of pick up (generally between 4:00pm-5:00pm).
Note: SICSA is able to spay /neuter pets in heat. Please do not cancel your appointment if you believe your pet to be pregnant or in heat. If our Veterinarian decides your pet is unfit for surgery after examination we will call you to discuss your options.
