Sweet, smart, and playful; what more could you ask for? Mocha has all of these traits and more!
Mocha first came to SICSA in February of this year. In March, she spent some time outside of SICSA on a slumber party, and a Paw Partner Overnight. She had a wonderful time hanging out with new people, but ultimately returned to SICSA. After this, COVID-19 took over, and Mocha was sent to stay with a loving foster family. Here she made herself comfortable, and shared lots of cuddles and kisses. Her foster described her as outgoing and snuggly, saying she acted like a typical high energy puppy. Her foster also noted that Mocha is intelligent, curious, and agile. He said he even felt she would be a good candidate for obstacle courses and agility training!
After returning from foster, Mocha was adopted in May. Unfortunately, she and her new cat sibling didn’t see eye to eye, so she returned to SICSA in June to find a new, cat-less home. She has been here with us since. In the meantime, she has been enjoying playgroups, and spending time splashing in her kiddie pool. Though at first it was assumed that she didn’t enjoy being around other dogs, as she would react negatively when in her kennel, our Animal Care Technicians quickly realized that, despite being barrier reactive, she actually really liked to play with other pups. She also loves getting attention from the staff, and running around the play yards. We are positive whichever family is lucky enough to take her home next will absolutely fall in love with this incredible, outgoing girl!
