Volunteer Training: Hike with a Rescue Dog
October 13 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 amFree
Hike with a Rescue Dog
SICSA and the Centerville-Washington Parks District are teaming up to bring rescue dogs to the trails! To kick off this partnership, we are doing a Paw Partners Active training, complete with dogs ready to hike!
The event will begin with a short training, after which you will be an official SICSA Volunteer and able to participate at any time in our Paw Partners Active program. Paw Partners take SICSA’s most energetic, adoptable dogs offsite for long runs, walks, and hikes, to give them an outlet for their excess energy! SICSA dogs will be onsite at this event for a hike after training.
Please RSVP below so we know how many attendees to expect.
ALL Participants MUST fill out an Adult PYPer Volunteer Application that includes a liability waiver. https://www.sicsa.org/volunteer/adult-volunteer by 3PM on Friday, October 12th.
