As SICSA closes the chapter on another year, we like to update our supporters with an annual report where we discuss the progress made over the past 12 months. As Nora Vondrell, our CEO and President, notes in her opening segment, though it may be challenging for us to celebrate our successes in light of ongoing struggles in our community, we felt it was important to press on with our commitment to keeping you in the know.
With the help of our incredible supporters, SICSA continued to aid the animals of Dayton and beyond. In 2019 we were able to lend a hand in rescuing animals from the path of Hurricane Dorian, offer homeless pets 119,096 meals, and place over 2,000 animals into their forever homes! 2019 was our final year in our Kettering location, as we finished building our new state-of-the-art facility. These are just a few of the achievements we cover in the 2019 Annual Report.
