SICSA, The Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals, has been in your neighborhood for 37 years, helping find homes for over 50,000 homeless dogs and cats.

SICSA is your local animal adoption center, built by you. And your annual membership makes a difference. Your membership not only helps you save thousands of lives, but it also gives you a voice. A voice in how SICSA applies its mission. A voice in what direction we move next.

SICSA Membership Levels 2012
A basic membership is $38 in 2012 in honor our 38th anniversary and includes:
- One-year subscription to the Stray Thoughts newsletter
- 2012 SICSA Calendar-while supplies last
- A tax-donation
- Recognition in the Annual Report
In addition, membership gives you a voice in the direction and mission of SICSA. All members in good standing are eligible to vote at the annual meeting.
Membership Tiers
Many of our patrons provide SICSA with annual support above the basic membership level, allowing SICSA to provide care and support to even more animals in the community. To encourage these efforts, we offer the following new membership tiers:
Buddy ($100-$249)
One of the most popular names for our shelter animals, this level annually is able to provide for
All of the above plus:
- Invitation to social and educational events
- SICSA T-shirt (changes annually – collect them all)
Ally ($250-$599)
All of the above plus:
- Ability to pay monthly via a credit card or through automatic banking
- Invitation to Benefactors’ Brunch
- A special 10% discount for Animal Adventure Summer Camp
Benefactor($600-$1,499)
All of the above plus:
- Complimentary micro-chipping of 2 pets
- Reservation including dinner for two to the Red Dog Auction
Defender ($1,500-$3,499)
All of the above plus:
- A complimentary paw painting session at SICSA with one pet ( an 8x10 canvas with washable tempera paint)
- A table in your name and reservations for four to the Red Dog Auction
Guardian ($3,500+)
All of the above plus:
- A table in your name and reservations for eight to the Red Dog Auction
- A complimentary child’s Birthday party at SICSA with educational tour and animal presentations (up to 15 attendees with cupcakes, invitations, paper products and craft included).
Monthly Payment Option
You have the option of paying monthly. Example of monthly amounts are below. You may cancel at anytime by calling the finance manager at 294-6505 ext. 13.
- Basic $38
- Buddy $100 or $8.34 monthly
- Ally $250 or $20.84 monthly
- Benefactor $600 or $50 monthly
- Defender $1,500 or $125 monthly
- Guardian $3,500 or $291.67 monthly
