About the Camps
The Animal Adventure Summer Camps are Humane Education Programs for children from 8-13 years old. Campers will learn about and interact with different type of animals. All activities will encourage respect, responsibility, empathy and kindness to animals. Campers will learn about SICSA and homeless animals, learn about other animals, study veterinary science (with a veterinarian), look at x-rays, use microscopes and stethoscopes, take part in readers theater, art activities and much, much more. All children will receive a camp SICSA t-shirt the first day of camp. All children will need to bring a sack lunch and a bottle of water to camp each day. Teachers will have assistants for a student teacher ratio of 5:1.
Animal Antics Camp will concentrate on many different type of animals including exotic, domestic and livestock animals. Canines and Cats will concentrate primarily on dogs and cats. See sample itinerary above for more information.
